Repairs Craftsman 26hp 54" deck

I had trouble getting my Craftsman started this year and realized the fuse was blown. Mower started, but every time I engage mower deck it blows the fuse. Is the electronic engagement switch bad? Any advice will be appreciated! Have A Good Day!

sounds like a short in the wiring I would trace the wires and see if there is any damage to the wires

i have seen that the fuse holder had gone bad,you can jump the wires from the fuse holder to the solenoid.. or the interlock switch is bad..
