Craftsman 247.37299 Starts then quits

I will probably just buy a new carb, as not having any luck clearing a hole. I don't think the throttle linkage and spring were ever on this mower. I don't remember ever seeing them, but mower worked. It seemed to run too fast. I kept trying to adjust governor, which never seemed to change anything. Attached a couple more pics.

You are correct, there does not seem to be any linkage or spring. You will need to get them also.

Seems these Chinese carbs are back ordered until later in June. So I managed to clean the jet port and the carb ports. Also made a throttle linkage from an old clothes hanger. And it ran fine. Thanks for your help.
