Can anyone tell me what the paint code is for my machine. They seem to favour ral codes here.

you asked. Most hardware stores will have it. If you want something closer you either go to JD and pray they sell you something that matches, or take a part to a local autobody paint supply and ask them to match it. The latter is the best solution because not all batches of paint will be the same, and it fades with exposure to light.

That is the best way, you will get closer than anything canned, if you want something nice

Yellow fades first.

Best to top coat with clear that has great UV protection. And about 4 coats of that.

Don’t go to a paint store to find a color match. Go to an auto body shop, as their employees know how to match colors better than paint stores, plus their paint will be of a better quality. You will get what you pay for, as it may be more expensive.
