Not sure what your tractor has for a engine, but just guessing a 16 HP Briggs? You should be able to pick up a coil at any Briggs and Stratton dealer or even a car parts store like NAPA. Make sure to have all the numbers off the engine when you go looking for the coil. If it has a different brand engine you will still need to do the same thing. When Ford built these lawn tractors they didn't use a Ford engine in them but bought small engines from a small engine manufacturers.
