I just got a tip from a neighbor who has a small, backyard garden. He said he uses used coffee grounds and egg shells to help mulch. He's got a few vegetables and flowers, and they seem to be doing pretty good.
Coffee grounds add a lot of nitrogen,,, I just today spread about 20 pounds I picked up from Starbucks... My evergreens love their coffee... :smile:KennyV
