Hi. I have a Craftsman 54" riding lawn mower with Kohler 26 hp engine. I was having carb problems - it would start and run briefly and stop. Finally I ordered a new carb and replaced it yesterday. Right after I replaced it, it wouldn't turn over. Mower turned over and started before I changed the carb just fine. Battery seems fine, starter is almost new. I can see numbers on the digital display showing the engine hours, but other than that - no sign of power.
I tried jumping with my pickup and charged the battery with my charger. Battery did appear drained even though it's pretty new, but I would think it would have given some sign of starting even with the jump. Thanks for you help.

Dan,
I would desperately love to help you fix your mower.
Unfortunately as Craftsman is a shop brand not a manufacturer there are around 70 different mowers you could be talking about and to give you any meaningful advice that you could follow I need to access the correct wiring diagram which I can not do without the model numbers of both the mower & the engine.
