Your not gonna get a bar and chain for $50 from Oregon or Carlton. Probably find something from Silver Streak or Forester.

What model saw is it for? You are only going to get a low quality B+C for $50. Now, budget $50 for a bar and you can get an Oregon Prolite, which is a fairly nice bar.

MS 180...14 or 16". Find a Total dealer and get a Super Bar, best bars I have for small saws, retail about $25.00, money left for a chain, which is a Carlton if you are clever!

Find a Jonsered dealer (not Tractor Supply!) and they can get or will have them. They come via Tilton distribution.
