Engine Part # 19G412-1187-E1
The nylon connector has split causing a fuel leak. Is the brass nipple pressed into the body of the carb or is it a threaded connection. I didn't want to attempt removing it if all I need is the nylon replacement. I'm not having any luck finding one though.

That part is called an elbow ,
The brass bit pulls strait out but warming the carb will allow it to come out easier .
When you get the new one push it is AT THE EXACT POSITION IT HAS TO BE IN.

Attempting to turn it to the right spot after it is in will cause the problem you have right now.

And key to Bert's comment is it is pressed (pushed) in and NOT hammered in place. Hammering will just loosen the nylon coupler again too.
OK, thanks. I only needed a new hose to start with but I moved the elbow attempting to remove the old hose. I'll do some more hunting for the part. I only checked a couple of online parts sites. I haven't looked locally yet. Wasn't sure if the shops are shut down from COVID-19.
Something else... Is this a low oil engine cutoff or something. It didn't have any connections to it when I bought the generator.
FWIW I have replaced about 5 in 7 years, not a common problem
I treat them like a bearing so warm the carb & chill the elbow.
They should be a commonly available part
Both my wholesalers sell them aftermarket one in packs of 5 & the other in packs of 10
So Oregon, Stens, Rotary all sell them.
