carb throttle and governor linkage install

I thought my manual showed a picture of Carbuerator and governor linkage placement on my mower and engine?.wrong!!!
can someone send me a picture? I have a Sears Craftsman Lawn Tractor 42"cut 18hp. model number 917.27664. I think its around 10 years old.
The carb. p/n is 792768 the engine p/n is 31P977-0670-E1. The linkage in question is briggs and stratton parts book item number, 216 p/n 691840 link-choke, item number 202, p/n 691841 link for gov. item number 232, p/n 691842 spring governor. Please help What a dumb mistake! I have tried for hours to install the linkage but just can't remember proper installation:confused2::laughing::frown: Thank You

What I have done in the pass is look at the old linkage and as a rule you can see wear marks and figure it out from there. What I will get some times is someone will bring me a mower in my shop that they took apart. Also take your engine model number and you might find something on line if you can find a service manual. Very good chance someone will send you a service manual on this forum.

I went to partstree.com and looked up 31P977-0670 and found the parts. It may help some.
It looks like it is almost the same as my 11hp B&S.
