carb gas return

briggs motor, carb, where gas goes on a one way to something like a charcoal canister on the air filter bracket, can I JB Weld the hole? gas leaks from there, would have to retap hole for bolt and find new gasket, easier to seal the hole with jb weld

That is not a return line, it is the air breather line and should never have liquid fuel in it.
It is either plumber wrong or you have serious flooding problem.
We need both the engine numbers and the mower numbers as different mowers plumb differently.
