Repairs Cant Adjust Idle On Koher Engine

Engine speed only runs on on wide open. I move the throttle down and engine speed doesnt slow down. Everything from what I could see moves freely.

Did this happen all of a sudden? Have you tried checking the gov. adjustment?

May have been like for sometime. I picked the mower for $50. Replaced one coil and engine harness. Its up and running again. I started messing with the governor linkage. Thought I found the cause. Started engine up. From open wide throttle I got slow down. Then I couldnt get it go in open throttle again til moved the cable lever up and down couple times. Then all sudden it jumps back to wide open throttle. Then I couldnt get to slow down to idle when using the cable. Cable moves freely.
