Buying out of State

I'm getting tired of continuously rebuilding my 10 year old MTD "Pro" tractor even though the 26Hp B&S Intec is still going strong. I have just about settled on the Husqvarna M-ZT 52. I've talked to the local dealer and they can not come close to the price of On-line stores, but they assure me that they can provide warranty service and are even willing to receive it to get it off the shipping truck. My question is has anyone had any good or bad experience with purchasing from SLEequipment.com in Antioch,TN. or Mowers4Less.com which seems to wants to hide its physical location. Thanks in advance for any help.

Bought from Sle equipment and could not be happier.
Went back and bought a blower and string trimmer.
Great service and support.
Also bought the M zt-52 great mower dude
I live in northern Alabama.

Don't how much you can save by buying from one of these company's with shipping. I would say as for myself seeing I do all my own repairs I would be very tempted if the saving was big enough. Its a lot of money so I would sure want to do a little home work on the companies before I sent them any money. You say mowers4less.com doesn't give you any information, Is there a reason??? Now if you are looking for service from a dealer that would be the place to buy not out of state. Never bought a mower out of state but that is the way I bought my motorcycle out of state, I am very happy with that.

Thanks for the reply. Checking SLE out on-line you typically get mostly bad reviews. But from what I've seen they may not provide everybody with the best follow up service which frankly I have little interest in that, I just need them to send me a new mower with all the parts included. On ebay it looked like they responded to most poor reports with an effort to make things right. Thanks again for your input.

The dealer has none of the M-ZT's in stock and would only give me $100 off MSRP so that's $5800 + 7.5% tax so I'd be out the door at $6235. SLE is selling the 52 for $5100 + $225 shipping or $5325. So it is a $910 difference. My local dealer is cool with providing any warranty work. They have already done some wok on my MTD. I think a lot of dealers are more concerned about where you will go in the future than where you made your last purchase (I hope). Thanks for your feed back.

If it was me I would surely want the 910 dollars in my bank account and not the dealers. Can't say I ever needed warranty work done on a mower but who knows what may happen? The best of luck on your purchase and enjoy..

I don't know about the reviews, but I called Slee because my key would turn and the solenoid would click, then catch. Also it seems to be not charging all the way up. Probably a ground or such. The wrench there gave me some places on the mower to check and I did to no avail. Cody from Slee said, let me find you a warranty place by your house and you take it there. Or bring it here and either way you are going to be taken care of. I wanted to get it to service before the first year warranty ran out. He said, we will not leave you hangin.
I think Slee does stand behind their sales and do care about the customer. Now it has been a week at the place and they have told me twice mine was the next one up but still no word. I expect that though because they do a lot of company's that bought equipment from them. It is to be expected. It will be looked at and fixed here shortly. I took it at this time of year because my grass is just about done growing for the season. I also have a backup mower if it takes to awful long. I know I could diagnose it myself but I want to see how the warranty stuff with husky will work out. Either way I saved $1000.00 buy going to Slee so I'm still happy. And the mower is a beast.
