Hi guys, just thought I put this message in here on what I did to buy my first lawn tractor. I called around a few dealers various makes & models. Ended up on a 2015 John Deere D125 for $575.00 less than 2016 prices with Zero hours on it & with full warranty. So I suggest anyone out there looking to buy a new lawn tractor any make or model, to call around & see what's available, almost bought a Craftsman but decided on the John Deere.
Just my 2 cents worth but it worked out good for me. One drawback for me just cause I wanted to take it home with me right away I will loose a few months of warranty as I can't use the tractor till May as I have 2 year warranty. I live in the big white North still lots of snow here, kinda hard to cut grass with the snow on top. LoL I'm sure many of u guys or lady's have done this but some may not think of getting a last years model of lawn tractor. I even looked into to seeing if there was anything new to the 2016 lawn tractor & there was none. Can't wait to I can cut the grass. Yuk did I really say that??? Hope this helps.

Down here, dealers buy their floor stock on 120 days credit. I assume something similar would happen over there.
Thus the closer the 120 day deadline gets the more willing a dealer is to do a deal.
However once the 120 day deadline has passed the price goes back up to full retail.
Thus it is always a good idea to check all the dealers and all the stock.
Also just because one dealer offers you a great price, it dose not mean the same price will be available elsewhere.
And remember once the dealer has opened his check book the incentive to cut price is gone so when you get a "today only " price on that mower alone it might just be a real today only price & not the salesman tyring to put some pressure on.
