brothers cub cadet starts then blows fuse

As the title says , my brothers cub cadet{ sorry I didn't get mod # or ser. #} starts when jumped ,battery bad, but then blows a fuse and stops running. He replaces the fuse, it fires up then blows fuse> I told him to check for a hot wire going to ground, any other hints?

WELCOME to these Forums....
If you are trying to run the engine connected to a "bad" battery it is likely the battery could be the short that is overloading the charging system...
Replace the battery Before you permanently damage the charging system. :smile:KennyV
