What would cause both intake valve guides on a cv20 to break a small piece off ends? Both intake guides closest to valve seat did this and caused quite a bit of internal head damage.
Perhaps improper installation. Guides are cast iron? If interference fit too tight and head not preheated to open holes the leading edge of the guides "might" have been cracked during positioning and over driving . :2cents:
