Briggs with no spark

Briggs model number 4077 77 0283 G1 turns over but no spark

Remove the kill wire from the coil and check for spark again. No spark, bad coil. Spark kill wire shorted somewhere.

Not your issue directly but won't hurt anything.

Sand/polish the coil mounting pads on engine block and polish the area where the coil sits on the coil. Gives the coil a nice clean ground.
