Briggs & Stratton not maintaining throttle

I have a Craftsman power washer with a Briggs & Stratton engine model 124P020009F1 that doesn't seem to keep the throttle up to maintain the pressure when the handle is engaged.
While running, if the handle is engaged, it will increase throttle for the high pressure, but then drop the throttle despite the handle still being engaged. If I disengaged the handle and reengage it, sometimes the pressure returns.

I recently cleaned the main jet of the carburetor and in the process bent the choke spring and replaced that. I am not sure if I have two governor arms in the wrong positions, but have had difficulty in finding images that would show the correct positions. A photo of the current positions of the governor arms is attached. Apparently the two can be easily repositioned. I have had the engine run in both positions. The bent choke spring that has been replaced is also visible.

I am not sure if it may be as simple as air still within the pump despite allowing water to run through the nozzle for a few minutes before starting or something else is the cause. Any help is appreciated.

I think you have a bad pump or wand.
I’ve seen this behavior before.
You engage the wand and it starts to build pressure and then nothing.
I hope I’m wrong

Also something else to look at. When you pull the trigger on the gun, is the engine closing the choke. and then sticking it shut causing the engine to run rich

So after checking the inlet hose, I suspect that he gasket wasn't sealing well. I could hear a sucking sound occasionally while it was running. Replaced gasket which had some small cracks, and reattached the hose, started it up and it was maintaining pressure well.
