I have a v twin briggs that only needs a single piston. It's a old back up mower and I don't want to spend the money on a set and I already have a new rod and rings. Could I order a piston for a single cylinder engine?

Model: 44R677 0004G1

Even though your engine has two pistons, the pistons are sold individually. So you need to order792023 which is a single piston. If you were replacing both you would need to order 2 pistons.

Everything I've seen online is for both. A set.

Thanks for the link! Though I noticed 44r677 isn't one listed that it fits.

The 792023 part number for the standard piston assy, that I listed is coming straight from the Briggs dealer parts lookup site.
