Briggs new camshaft and valve adjustment

I just put a new aftermarket amazon cam in this briggs due to compression release failure. I set the valves .004 intake .006 exhaust at 1/4" past TDC. After doing this I checked the valves the way I used to set them, with the intake valve fully open the exhaust valve is tight, with the exhaust valve fully open the intake opens up to .01". Is this normal? 31G777 0306 G5

Thank you for the quick response. I can't even tell you how many times I adjusted these the other way and they worked great. Must be a lot of room for error in this...
