Hi everyone,

I bought a Wolsely Grass Cutter from the 80's, but the engine is dead (b&s 110988 3.5 HP - cylinder largely striped), and I'm looking for a replacement engine, the problem is that it's pretty tedious to find an engine with an auxilliary shaft. Well In fact I didn't despite long research on different ad sites (in France).

Any idea how I could replace it by a more recent one? even a new one?

Thanks in advance for your help/advices

P

Rivets, i believe this engine is a vertical shaft.
and looking at the briggs IPL no replacements were made.

I have some short blocks down here but freight Aust to France would be a tad expensive
If you just want to run the mower then Honda still make push mower engines with drive shafts .
Every one else just uses a longer out put shaft and slips a pulley on it .
