Changed heads as suggested after bending push rods.........It will start but no power.......I believe it is valve adjustment.

What is the adjustment on the valves???

Cannot find a repair manual

Any other suggestions on what the problem might be???? if not valves
 
I'm working on a Briggs 445677 in my shop that keeps bending push rods. I have cleaned the valve stems but have been told by Briggs tech that it could be that the valve guides have moved. I'm replacing the entire head tomorrow as the valve guides can't be fixed like in the old L-head engines.
