I have a Dixon Zeter with the B&S 11.5 IC engine. I was mowing and it acted like I pushed the throttle as low as it would go, which I didn稚. It then stopped running. I got it restarted but it would only idle, then it eventually stopped. I changed the fuel filter, spark plug and went ahead and changed the oil. Now it will not start. I have spark. It did not smoke during any of this. Any suggestions? Let me know if you need more info!!

Compression check? if good...
Check to see if the the choke plate is operating as it should be.Check the throttle plate.Does it open and close as it should.I have seen the screws for the plates vibrate out. does the governor linkage operate full range.

Check both ends of your throttle cable . Very common in my shop to find the end snapped on the throttle handle .
