MTD doesn't make Murry. Murry is owned by B&S and is mostly an AYP product.

Murray push mowers at Walmart are made by both MTD and Husqvarna. Murray riders are exclusively MTD. MTD is now making Brute push mowers. If you don't believe me just look at the model number tags, and see for yourself.

Murray riders are warrantied through MTD service centers. Murray push mowers are warrantied either by Poulan or MTD service centers depending on who made it.

Don't know or understand the politics or reasons, but I'll snap the pics tomorrow of the mower and its tag.

But how would AYP even enter into it otherwise? AYP is a division owned by Husqvarna.

If there making Murry it must of happened recently. According to the MTD site Murry is not listed as one of there brands or products for MTD.

the 17ADCACT058 Shows up in my parts lookup system as an MTD under the Murray name. The 17ADCACT066 shows up as a Troybilt Mustang, which is the same mower in a different color, and label package.
