Bottom end is gone,

I was just informed that my 7.6 hp C8 Gravely, that the bottom end was gone, maybe a spun rod bearing.

Does this mean, the piston is no longer attached to the crankshaft?

Is it repairable or do I have a new lawn ornament?

It is very much repairable. The crankshaft has to be turned down and a new undersized rod installed.
