My 2002 vintage sabre riding mower has broken bracket which holds a idler pulley on the mower deck.The bracket is welded to the deck is there a repir kit availbe.
If you are a reasonable welder put it back on.
If your welding is not good, take it to a welder and get it done.
Don't know why but JD decks seem prone to this and the hangre bracket cracking and falling off.
If you take it out emove the belts and make sure the deck is clean of all dried grasses.
