Blown oil seal on Kohler command 26HP

I have a Kohler command 26HP on my Cub cadet tractor that has a 42 " MTD blower on it. My problem is that it just blew the bottom oil seal and sprayed oil all over the belts. I had the seal changed and everything checked out OK but it did not last. It blew the seal again inonly a few hours of running. We have checked the crank for burs or marks and it is clean, we also checked the compression and it is ok. I put a new tube on the crank case vent and checked to see if all was clear and it looks ok. Does anyone have any idea what can cause this problem and how to fix it ?

Only 2 reasons.
1) excessive pressure in the crankcase
2) badly worn cases or slightly undersized seal.

The breather tube is just that, a tube.
What is important is the valve behind it.

And if you find that the crankshaft, oil pan bearing surface has been damaged with what looks like electrical arcing, Check the electric clutch for shorts to the case. If the clutch shorts out it can cause attempted grounding through the crankshaft causing a welding effect between the crankshaft and the oil pan bearing surface.

Thank you sir.
Another one I would have never thought of.,

Some of the early electric clutches were a single wire and grounded through the crankshaft/ anti rotation strap. Crankshaft arcing and lower bearing damage was an issue in some cases, which is part of the reason behind the now two wire connector directly to ground.

Three years ago I had a similar problem and after blowing out three seals I found that the oil return passage way, between the seal cavity and crankcase, was plugged. It would not allow oil to return to the crankcase and blow out the seat. After I opened the passage way, which took about three hours, no more problems. Just a thought.
