Blades Wont Engage

On my Fastrak SD I dis-engaged the blades to cross the driveway and afterwards they wont re-engage? I took the panel off and checked for any loose wires. I unplugged the switch and made sure it was plugged in good after checking for any loose connections. Matter of fact I tried checking ALL connections. Still seems to have no power on the pull switch. Also checked the 2 fuses and theyre OK. Bad Switch or what?!? Looks like a trip to the shop and only 2 years old.

Are you getting 12v at the plug going to the clutch

Sounds like a safety switch to me - seat switch ? Reverse switch ? is there a bump crossing your driveway ? It must be something simple !

Check under the seat and bounce up and down a few times.

Just picked up the mower from my mechanic today. It was the pull switch.

Recommend you get a multimeter and learn how to use it. The bad switch is most elementary in which a simple continuity check would have told you the problem.

A simple light continuity tester, of many designs, with the wires disconnected and the probes across the switch terminals, would have also diagnosed the problem if a multimeter wasn't in the budget.

Youre right...I do need to learn but I know nothing about electrical stuff. Either it works or it doesnt and that's the extent of what I know. LOL:confused2:
