blades will not engage on riding mower

mower blades will not engage most of the time, but do engage occasionally.

Sounds like a bad mower engage switch or a bad mower blade clutch.

Love to help but the moon in in the 6th hour + Earth & Mars are opposed so love is not in the stars & my mystic power do not work.
So without make & model numbers of the mower & engine, you will just have to wait 14 years for the planets to align again.
