Gentlemen, after trying several different blades, I believe I have found the bomb. Part# B1BC1201, flat (no offset) 16.25 5/8's hole. Yard looks like a putting green. Far better cut than the original eq offset blades. Cheers. Ray

PS, won't run gator blades, loads up something terrible in just one cut. (Was it wet? Hell yea, grass is always wet this time of the year in GA)

The commercial customers in my service run use up to 3 different blades during the season to cope with moisture conditions & dust.
A PIA for home owners who might take the blades off once every 5 years but it does make a difference
Most of them throw during early spring then switch to mulch when the growth flush subsides followed by low lifts when the gras burns off over summer ( cause people grow the wrong grass ) .

Bert, you will find tall & creeping red fescue, zoysia, centipede, & bermuda (cuts very nicely), and likely a few other varieties grass and a few different weeds. Some is full sun, other parts get morning sun and some only gets the hot late afternoon. It's all green when you whack it off about 2 1/2" tall. The more I run this machine the more I like it. I will say one thing, it's a heavy beast and I leave it up when the ground is wet and practice cutting different every time to prevent ruts. Cheers, Ray

Well & good but we have 11 varieties of Kangaroo grass & 5 types of wallaby grass plus 8 Mitchel Grasses
Then of course rye grass oat grass then imported stuff like Kikui , buffalo , couch.
Some city lawn mixes do have some Fescue don't know what variety
It has only taken 210 years for Ausralians to understand that UK & European grasses do not do well in OZ so we are now just starting to breed native grasses often crossed with African grasses so they are F type hybrids ( do not go to seed ) for domestic lawns but then again I have long said Australians are the stupidest people on the planet .

I have to differ on that because the US IRS has the stupidest people.
