Blade alternative

Kioti Ck25 with 3 point Ford 930a mower.

Does anyone have opinions on the string trimmer type replacement blades?
They use 4 pieces of super heavy duty trimmer line per spindle instead of a steel blade. I am looking to mow weeds, tall grass, ferns, and the occasional ROCK. Not too concerned about the look of the cut, just that the crap gets knocked down.

It is an interesting concept but not practical or realistic.

Stick with the steel blades. A tractor driven rotary finish cutter has way too much torque for string trimmer line.

Even if you could find a way to adapt a string trimmer line adapter to each spindle, you would be stopping to renew the line every few minutes.

Another option would be to look into a DR trimmer that is made for that kind of work.
