Billy Goat MV601 with Briggs and Stratton PXi850 engine won’t start.

I have a Billy Goat MV601SP lawn vacuum that won’t start. The engine is a B&S PXi850. The machine has a cable connected choke and a separate choke lever on the engine. The machine is brand new and has never been started. I don’t know if is a choke setting issue or what. When I was taking the machine home from the dealer, it was raining. Has new fuel and oil.

Any assistance in getting the machine started would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Inspect air filter for being wet, let it air dry. Post Model xxxxxx, Type xxxx, Trim xx, Code xxxxxxx from engine.

The Air filter was dry. There is a choke and an engine speed controller on the lawn vacuum.

Take the unit back to dealer as it should be a warranty covered issue.

Thanks for posting information. Read Operators Manual thoroughly & see if you're missing something, give it a try. I agree with StarTech, return Billy Goat to dealer because of no start issue, under warranty.
