I picked up an old BG 75. 1996.
Cleaned out the carb, replaced: broken thumb switch metal contacter, primer bulb, filter, fuel lines.
Fired right up n first/second pull. Ran great at full throttle. Adjusted carb so it wouldn’t die at idle.

Fairly powerful little hand held. Almost requires two hands to control. Ran for a bit, blew off deck, porch, walk way.

Day two. Again, fired right up. However it started to blow a good amount of blue smoke. Was wanting to blow out wife’s car and couldn’t, because it was filling up with the smoke.

I’ve never worked on a small engine before. It’s running 50:1. Muffler looks like it’s seen better days.

Blue smoke usually indicates excess oil. What oil (specifically) are you mixing with?
Not a good idea to use inside any vehicle.
On some blowers the exhaust exits out of the blower tube. Would not want to inhale that stuff.
