Better seat for Toro 8-32

I was gifted a 1988 Toro 8-32 about 15 years ago. I used it for one season and then it stopped working. I'm considering fixing it. The biggest problem is the seat didn't provide enough side support so I was always slipping out of the seat on slopes etc. Are there better aftermarket seats that could be installed?

Are the fixing points universal for mowers/boats?
