Hello C.G.,

Thanks for the video. Teryl Fixes All and Chickanic also made some similar videos.

I have had the best results with Ethanol Shield and Star Tron in recent years. I use it in customers generators and for winterizing their other equipment. They have given me nothing but great feedback.

For years, I used Sta-Bil but started getting to many that needed Spring carburetor cleaning due to the additive gelling up. Of course, many customers think "if a little is good more is better" because they don't follow the instructions on the bottle.

I've never considered Sea Foam a "fuel stabilizer" and certainly not Marvel mystery oil. Marvel is great for carbon stuck rings and dissolves excess carbon buildup inside of and engine

I have very little experience with fuel stabilizer, but I know my neighbor used Sta-Bil in a snow blower he had. He passed away in November of 2020. The other day, I pulled his snow blower out of his shed. Hadn't been touched in at least 5 years but I think more like 6. It started on the second pull. I couldn't believe it. I would have lost a lot of money betting against that thing starting at all, much less on the second pull.

Hello M.,

I think the difference in climate matters a lot. I'm down here in deep South Texas and fuel stabilizers are just not as effective. I trust Sta-Bil through the few months of cooler weather that we do get, but not any longer than that. Much of the time we are in the mid 90's to 105 degrees and the inside of a storage building gets much hotter.

Fresh fuel is the best fuel. I’ll fill ten 5gal. fuel canisters an use what I need over 3 months. After that I dump what’s left over into one of my car/truck/jeeps.

I only use Seafoam or Redline SL1 or Techron when doing a fuel system/injector/carb cleaning

I have never been a fan of fuel stabilizer, nor used it. Fresh fuel with zero water in it is the way to go. This topic is another controversial one like ethanol debate.
