Looking to buy a new deck belt for my bobcat 48inch mower (model 934003)...does it have to be bobcat brand belt? Nowhere local sells them.
I believe the size is 5/8 x 85 1/4?

Thats what I got from a website when pluggin in the model number

You could try a b82 it will 85 inches long 1/4 isn't going to make that much difference. It needs to be a high power belt to last any length of time. Original is always better.

Looking at the IPL, the 48" uses two belts

Plug those part numbers in on Stens or Rotary Corp for some good aftermarkets, or Oregon.

I am not familiar with this particular mower but most mower belts are not a standard A, B, M, or even L profiles.
The position , size & number of the kevlar cords are often different as well.
So it is always best to get either the branded belt or an OEM Specification aftermarket belt.
Check the new belt against the old belt and never believe any of the cross reference charts as a lot of them are wrong.
The only one I trust is the Gates catalogue but that will only give you the specifications of the belt if Gates makes one.
