Are the drive belt and deck belts the same size? From my research both belts have the same part number which is 144959 (deck belt is 130801). Both numbers are on the exact same size belt. I need to order a deck belt and want to make sure I have the right number.

Also, my bf has a LT2000 and it has the same belt numbers. Is this correct?

The deck belt that you listed for me subs to a 138255. the two belts could be the same size, but have a different pitch.

on mine they were different. look other places then sears though. i found my drive belt for like 8bucks on ebay/amazon

Yes they are the same length but one is 1/2 inch wide the other is 5/8 wide there for what has been already said the pitch is not the same.
Go to a mower shop and get the belts. And bring your model number and they will give you the correct belts.
