I purchased a used snapper without a belt. used model number to get belt but it is too short. took to a snapper dealer and they could not figure out. does not look like it has been modified, i got a 1 1/2 longer belt but still a little to short. any ideas, i have a 73 1/2 inch belt now too short.
The last resort is to use a length of 1/2 diameter rope.
Run it around the pulleys then measure the length of te rope and add !/2" for US outside lenght belt sizes.
