battery terminal bolts

I found the correct bolts.

Well they should coarse threaded 1/4 bolts and nuts with maybe a flat washer on each bolt.

Get rid of the wingnuts. They only loosen with time and not charge the battery.

Think those are worse than these emergency ONLY types people love to use. Toss these in the can too.

Most use 1/4×20×3/4 bolts with matching nuts. If your terminals need replacement, do so.

I prefer closed end tin plate copper cable lugs; although, they come in plain copper. I can seal them with heat shrink. Plug they come in different gauges. I do work with both 8 and 6 gauge cables. They however require a hydraulic crimper to make good solid crimps, not those hammered flat.
