battery tenda

I leave my battery in lawn tractor over winter with Battery Tenda on it. When disconnecting Tenda from elect socket, green light stays on. Am I draining the battery?

Could be a slow drain on the battery. Are you sure the light won't go out after a short period of time. My battery charger will still light the screen for a few seconds after being disconnected from both power and the battery.

I’ve never noticed it with mine.
I unplug from the outlet and then disconnect the alligator clips.
When I reattach, I hook up the alligator clips and then plug into the outlet.

On my battery minder on my truck, it will stay lit green just for a few seconds then go blank as I remove the hookups..

Green light stays on until I disconnect from battery. Sometimes as long as 10 minutes. Was just wondering what would happen in power outage. Will have to test for longer period just to satisfy curiosity. Thanks for your responses.

Tender at vacation house...7 - 10 day visits in mow season, longer in winter. I've used this set up for 2 years now with no seemingly ill effects... and, luckily, no power outages.
