Battery Post Adapters??

I bought a new battery for my nephew's Bolens ST110. I didn't realize it, but the tractor's cables have post clamps like a car and the new battery I bought just has the terminals with a bolt hole.

What should one use to adapt to these terminals? I see side terminal adapters, but the threaded part isn't long enough...

Thanks!

Can you just take it back and exchange for battery with post ?
If you can't you can get new cable ends with the GM screw ends at most any parts store, but with those you will need to cut post type ends off, I have an old GM battery here and I see it is only threaded about 1/2 inch.

Thanks Mike.

I bought it at Advance Auto and it looks like all of their Lawn & Garden batteries have the flag terminals whereas the car batteries have the posts. This may be universal, but I don't know...

Correct, mower batteries have flat, bolt on posts.
This is because they are different internally to car batteries and thus makes it easy to work out which is what.
