Hi. New to this so hope I’m in the right place.

I’ve been looking for a 20v 2000mAh battery for my Qualcast Li30 lawnmower since august last year. I’ve been put from pillar to post. The tel number on the battery just rings off every time, Homebase can’t help, I’ve tried searches on Google, eBay, Amazon, Lidl, Aldi. Nothing. I wonder if anyone knows where I can get one from ?.

The model number of the lawn mower is Qualcast Li30 (498428, model A022029)
and the strimmer (which also uses that battery) is Qualcast GTLi20 (498428, model YT7403-08).

I think the SKU code is 498428 (for both the strimmer and the lawn mower)
Please see attached images of battery.

All the best, Colin.

Apart from just taking it around to some hardwear stores and looking for a battery that is close enough to fit, or be slightly modified to fit you are only left with repacking.
Carefully pull the pack apart
Inside you will find 7 x 3V batteries ( might be 6 )
They are standard Li cells and will have a number on them
Search that number and you should be able to buy individual cells for a fraction of the price of a complete battery package.
Down side is some of the controllers measure the hours of useage and shut down when that is reached .
Alternatively search "battery repackers"
Down here we have a lot of workshops that repack obsolete batteries.
I am still using a Mac Wallstreet and get a shop that swaps my old battery packs for fresh packed ones long after Apple marked them NLA .
