Depends on what you are going to put them on and use it for.

(sorry) I'll be putting them on a Bad Boy ZT50 zero-turn. Will only be using to cut grass on totally flat ground.

Don't do it. You'll only end up digging up your grass.

All you can do is try them and see. Dixie chopper mowers have some almost like bars on there mowers. And they seem to work fine.

Don't buy ag tires like on a farm tractor you will dig your yard up big time the ones they run on the big commercial modes like Dixie Chopper is a Carlisle Chevron tire There great tires for ZTRs but you still have to be careful with them they will dig good luck

Thanks for ALL the info. BUT the MAIN question I'm asking is can u go 1 inch taller. I know I will need to re-level my deck. What about transmission? (speed) ect.

Taller the tire faster the mower and yes 1 inch will make it faster. A lot faster no.
But I am thinking with the tires you wanting to use will be closer to 2 inch bigger.
I know the size says it will only be a inch but put a tape on them and bet comes out close to 2 inch more in diameter and I inch and a half wider

If you look up the manufacturer's website, or even many seller sites, they'll list the mounted dimensions. The same listed sizes can vary greatly between manufacturers or even tire styles.

For a tire that's 1" taller overall, that's only 1/2" each side of the axle, so, 1/2" closer to the fender, deck, etc. If you can't just look at it and say, "There more than that there", then it's probably too close to go bigger.

The comments of tearing up your grass are understandable but be smart with them, when they start to slip, stop. I run claims when mowing no problem. And yes you can easily go a inch taller, I didn't mount em but I had 245 car tires under the fender of my jd 317.
