I just purchased a bagger for my mower. I am noticing the the rubber seal where the upper shoot attaches to the cover will not stay in place. I am considering rivots as the fix. However I don't want to void any warrenties. Any Ideas?

I have the Craftsman 3 bagger . The gasket does come adrift sometimes. I thread it back on and have not noticed any adhesive, just a fairly deep groove. Seems like rivets would create tear potential. Maybe some 3M adhesive that remains tacky? I try to avoid removing and re-inserting the
"big end" which discharges into the bags. Take off the "frame" with the upper "big head" in place.

If you just purchased it take it back under warranty and get a new one. That's a no brainer.

With my craftsman there are numerous design and execution defects. I don't think looking for waranty relief will be more than a revolving door. Find ways to live with Craftsman craft. :mur:

OK, do what you want, craftsman love people who don't fight.
