BadBoy ZT Electrical/starting issues...

Looking for a head start on what could hopefully be the quick fix!!

Last week I was cutting grass with no problems at all. I got to a spot I wanted to cut lower so I lowered the deck. As soon as I hit the switch to lower the deck the mower died and would not restart. I ended up finding a burnt (fried hardcore) fuse, 25a inline fuse. I changed the fuse and cut the rest of the yard. As I was backing into the shed I got to my parking spot and pulled the emergency brake and the mower again died. I tried to start it again and got nothing. I replaced the same fuse again and all I got was a click from one of the (what I assume are) solenoid plugs (there are 4 in a row one the right side under the seat. It would not start or even crank, just click at the solenoid. I pulled the battery and it was reading 12.6v.

thoughts???

Having the same issue. How were you able to resolve/ repair it!

Start by numbering the relays with a pen, then pulling them and swapping them around until the mower starts. If you have one that is bad, replace.

12.6 volts is not a fully charged battery take it and have it load tested.

Hmm...Get the Schematic or Wiring Diagram and study it closely. Did you get up off the seat to hit the switch for lowering deck? could be a Fail-Safe that blows the fuse for safety reasons. Or a relay with Normally closed contacts that's not opening when energized, causing a short to ground. It's possible electric clutch is out of adjustment, drawing too much current and draining the battery. I dunno, just guessing here.
