Hi Troops,
A week ago I was returning to my home and I was hit head on in my Ford E350 van. Other driver, suspended license since 2009, unregistered vehicle, expired plates from someones vehicle, no insurance, and high on drugs at 10:30 in the morning!!! Nice 23 year old kid, yea right!! He was arrested but not his first time and probably not his last. I was taken to the ER, checked out, and later released. My van was totaled and has been taken away by the insurance company, a settlement has been agreeded on, but I'm not thrilled. Fortunately I didn't have my equipment trailer behind me. I was able to find a replacement vehicle fairly close by and I will pick it up tomorrow.

:shocked:Glad that you were not physically hurt or worse. In that way maybe it was a good week. Everything else can be replaced.
Today I took delivery of a 2011 E350 Ford 12 pax van. I have ordered a class IV frame hitch, 7 pin trailer electrical harness, and brake controller electrical adapter and I'll install it all some time next week. This van is almost too pretty to haul my lawn equipment trailer and me when I'm dirty from mowing customers lawns!!!
Actually I was fortunate to find a van as quickly as I did and the dealer had just reduced the price which was good for me. I had borrowed my older son's truck and got most of the lawns done over the last few days. My youngest grandsons, 2 1/2 and 4 1/2 are looking forward to riding in PaPa's new "bus" and we are planning a trip to take a ride on a real steam train, the 2 1/2 year old loves trains, he must have some of PaPa in him!!!
Scag Tiger Cub is close to 400 hours and the pump drive belt change is due in addition to a 50 hour service.
