I had spindle go bad, very bad s shredded the belt, string from the belt is caught up in my PTO and binding it up. How do I remove the belt string from the PTO? it will not pull out and the PTO is screaming when I engage it even without the new belt attached.
 
You will have to remove the PTO center bolt an slip the PTO off. It may have to come apart to get the belt material out of it.
