When trying to engage drive arms the engine shuts down. The brake has been disengaged. The PTO/blades operate normally. Any ideas?

Brake switch is faulty

Not necessarily as the seat switch maybe bad as Bad Boy runs 12V through it when you are on the seat to activate the seat switch relay.

But if you like you can decipher this wiring diagram. Boy I hate these...Why can't they produce an easily read schematic?

If the seat switch is the sole cause then I would have expected the engine to cut out when the parking brake is released
As for Loom layout diagram that is presented as wiring diagrams , I print them out on A3 paper then trace over the bits I need with coloured pencils or over markers .

From reading the diagram I posted and the way the machine is operating say to me that we the actual model number of the mower. Something just doesn't add up to me. OEM may have changed the wiring since the year of the MZ Magnum I looked up.
