B&S OEM rings

Received piston with ring set, part number 594539 for a 31C707 0254 E1...the two top rings have color code markings...can someone advise(mounting order top down) which color ring fits to the piston?

Please verify your model type numbers. I see no 0254.

Also the piston assy is for


Now this might be a superseded part so the model and type is important to look up the correct parts.

And i would have contact Briggs about which order they go in and which is top and bottom of the rings.

Well me and my fat fingers really screwed that up: 31C707 0154 E1

Standard piston. 594539 is a supersede for 796172.

796172 > 594539 Before date code 14100100
594435 After date code 14093000

Should have come with a cheat sheet but I see if Briggs is of any help it may take a few days. email sent to tech support.
