Working on a Model 287707-0153 01, Code 930408-A:
The nylon fuel (elbow) connection is cracked and leaking..need to replace it. There is a brass connection in the carb that the nylon fitting is pressed to swivel?...is it pressed in the carb body or screwed in? How should the replacement part be installed.....JB weld, epoxy, or is it just pressed into the carb body?

Thanks in advance for your help,

bartles

First the 90 degree is never to twisted as it will destroy it.

Now that it is cracked and leaking the whole assembly needs removing. It is just pressed in so it must be extracted and a new one pressed in. Note make you have fitting pointing the direction you wand it as said twisting afterward just screws it up.
