Hi the names Merle, I have an ariens yt1138, but the transaxle just went bad, so its not running right now. Anyone know where i could get an axle or find another kind that i could adapt?

You should still be able to get through ariens dealer. Your model number is 93500100, you will need to enter your serial number.

Hi I thought id post a few pics of my mower, (well, garden tractor). Its a belt drive 3 speed hi/low ariens yt1138. The mower deck didnt work so i took it off, and made a few modifications to the tractor. I changed the size of a few of the pulleys to make it speed up. It now goes 16 mph, which is why the front tires are almost worn through. Its a lot of fun and is very useful when i hook up my wagon. Yeeeeeehaaa!!
